Definitely the best, and most underdeveloped part of Star Wars history in Legends and Canon, the Empire vs. the CIS holdouts. I'm really eager to see how this plays out in the mod!

Quick question how difficult is it going to be take down the CIS Holdout as the Empire in the GC? I mean the name Holdout implies that there the remnants of an larger organization that has fallen without any clear coordination. Wouldn't it be an easy curbstomp for the Empire especially due to their access to more advance weapons, starhips, and technology?

The Empire only gets access to a relatively small portion of their roster so it won't be too hard. The largest ship the Empire can use in the GC is the ISD I while the CIS can field Lucrehulks and [redacted].

[redacted]? In the wise words of everyone's favorite scoundrel:
"I got a bad feeling about this."

No. It's not possible to lock/unlock units depending on game difficulty.

It is if you create a lua story mission with selectors that each fire a different Story notification. Then you unlock the appropriate units with the story prereqs.

I'd love it if the CIS holdouts managed to get their hands on a few Republic ships as well :D would be such a strike of irony! :D
keep up the amazing work! Love this ship!

Description

"The Munificent-class star frigate was a warship used by the InterGalactic Banking Clan and by extension the Confederacy of Independent Systems... After the Clone Wars ended, many crews took their Munificents past the reaches of the Galactic Empire, becoming pirates and mercenaries."

The Munificent is the primary frigate of the Separatist Holdouts as it was one of, if not, the most common ship in the Confederate Navy during the Clone Wars. The Munificent isn't as heavily shielded or armored as similarly sized Imperial vessels, but it does have a large amount of firepower it can bring to a fight including 1 Long-Range Dual Heavy Ion Cannon and the Prow-Mounted Heavy Turbolaser Cannon, which has more range and deals more damage than a standard heavy turbolaser.
