Star Wars Rise of Hope is a mod that will be based on the early Empire and its fall against the Rebel Alliance and its following sucessor the New Republic.

"The Imperial escort carrier was a type of capital ship used exclusively by the Galactic Empire's storm commandos. The Storm commandos' Imperial escort carrier was different from the standard escort carrier of the Imperial Navy. It was a nimble, narrow-hulled ship, with a flared arrowhead bow, and three sublight thrusters mounted in a vertical row on the stern. Its most prominent weapons were two single-barreled cannon mounted turrets on the dorsal centerline, with a wide field of fire ahead, above, and to either flank. There were also four double-barreled weapons mountings on the ventral centerline, all surrounding of the hangar bay, while two small turreted cannons were mounted on the very tip of the bow."
"Sienar Fleet Systems already produced an Interdictor, the Immobilizer 418 cruiser based on a 600 m Vindicator-class heavy cruiser. Kuat Drive Yards decided to produce their own Interdictor offering to rival that of SFS by using an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer hull as a base. To make room for the gravity well projectors, half of the turbolasers and ion cannons, as well as eight of the Phylon Q7 tractor beam projectors found on the original Imperial-class Star Destroyer, had to be removed. The Interdictor-class Star Destroyer's reduced hangar held sixteen TIE fighters."

The TIE Hunter is probably the Empire's best starfighter. It is one of the only TIEs equipped with shields and it also has 2 light ion cannons and 1 proton torpedo launcher. TIE Hunters will only deploy from Imperial Escort Carriers.
Dosen't the Tie Defender and avenger have shields though???
