MC30c type Frigate image - Star Wars Rise of Hope mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Star Wars Rise of Hope is a mod that will be based on the early Empire and its fall against the Rebel Alliance and its following sucessor the New Republic.
The MC30c type Frigate was a medium sized light frigate repurposed by the Mon Calamari for the Rebel Alliance and their fight against the Empire.
The frigate while well armed for its size, suffered from a light hull which once its shields were downed it would be easily taken care of. It was armed with 5 turbolasers turrets, 5 AA lasers, 10 laser turrets, a cluster bomb deploy system and 2 forward fixed proton torpedo tubes.
This is the standard look of most MonCal ships in the mod, the hull with an orange taint in some parts, I had the MC30c for some time in the mod but not showed (If someone remember this Moddb.com, you can see it over there) and now its been reworked.
EDIT: I added it 4 blister mounted cannons, now it has more forward only weapons and they will be destroyable.

Some blisters will do wonders for its Mon Calamarian look.
If you read the thing I jsut finished to write there, blister will come with mediums, but I feel it could maybe have some... maybe that thing I gaved you...
That does look cool but a few more bigger ones would be better. Just designs, not guns.
I wouldnt know where to place them as I think the ship design is not made for blisters and I had lucky it looked well with those I just added.
Maybe once you guys make your version you could show me ;)
The reason why I maded it so light armed is because I want to show how the ship designs go better through techs, I´ll explain the MonCals now.
The Rebel MonCal ships are in total 7, 2 light types, 2 medium types, 2 heavy types and 1 supership so to say.
The light ones are:
The MC12 (https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-empire-at-war-random-mod/images/mc40-and-mc12#imagebox) and the MC30c, both ships are going to be light armed and armored, but as MonCal designs both will have a moderate speed and the best shields in the galaxy.
The medium ones are:
The MC40a and the (if someone ever makes a model) MC75, they will be the ones in the middle as they will be more armed and prepared to damage bigger ships but not able to destroy them, fighters start to be visible on them and AA capabilities are being removed.
The heavy ones are:
The MC80 Liberty and the Wingless, both are prepared to take on bigger fishes and do it good, heavy armament increases, AA weapons dissapear and fighters come in numbers to help.
And the super one is:
Nothing less than the MC80 Home One-class, carries a good number of fighters and has very good armor and shields aswell as a very prepared arsenal of weapons.
This will apply to other designs like Corellians, Sullustans, etc too.
nkorn WAIT. So, your telling me..... there will be Corellian ships and Sullustan ships for the Rebels?
Ehhh of course? CR90s corvettes and Quasar carriers are Corellian and Sullustan respectively and used by the Rebels.

Ohh, well the Corellian Destroyer wont be added, doesnt really fit with the Alliance look but the Dauntless will be added.
