Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
This is a screenshot of the preliminary in-game tests of the new Viscount.
As you can see, the Republic has taken a page from its adversary's playbook and build a ship of its own on the massive scale of the super star destroyers. A Home One, a pair of MC80 Commands and an MC80 Colony are included in the shot to demonstrate scale. While not quite as long as the Executor class, the Viscount is much thicker through the hull and has considerably more volume - making it a truly monstrously huge ship.
Again, the original mesh is the work of Jereon(imo) from Empire at War Remake and we thank him for sharing it with us.
Am I assuming right that the part of the ship at the bottom is the bridge?
Really makes me wonder about the tactics utilised in Rogue One (ramming the star destroyer) and Star Wars VIII (hyperspeed rambo something *nowyourfleetisfucked*)
Edit: Anyways awesome work! keep it coming!
When I was watching the part of the 24 hour stream that the hanging part was made on, it was mentioned as some sort of escape vessel, don't know if that's still it's intended purpose or not
The lower pod is full of hangar facilities. It's probably the main hangar as it's larger than the other 4 on the sides. I'm not so sure about the lower part being an escape vessel as well as umad41 has suggested.
The MC75's bridge (at least in the Rogue One version) was in the bottom pod. I'd say that isn't the case here.
you think you gonna win, you have a bellator, a couple of capital ships and a bunch of frigates then you see this...... f*ck this sh*t im out
Holy cow...
"I think we're gonna need a bigger shipyard"
