Empire is love, Empire is life.
my girlfriend says "Crack is love, crack is life" all the freaking time! its so annoying! xD
She just wants you to stick it in her butt dude.
Crack? Sounds like you need a better girlfriend.
:rebellion and betrayal will not be tolerated either put down your arms or be destroyed.............you will not get a final warning"
Would like to believe you, but the last alliance forces that surrendered were just bombed anyway.
"surrendered" mmhmm the penalty for high treason and terrorism is death anyways.
good point, take no prisoners comrades
Very Nice Job! :)
The Empire did a much better job then the Republic at keeping their worlds safe,(until the clone wars, the Republic had no Army)
I don't care for the Death Star though, but the Super Star Destroyers are very useful,(mobile base, command ship, etc.)
After watching two Death Stars get blown up, I would say that the Darth Vader of this mod would agree. :p
:) how about you, what do you think of the Death Star?
The Death Stars were very costly as well
Funny thing is,despite how costly both DSs were, none of them had any impact on the Empire's economy,at least judging by the old canon.
Very Interesting
Economics sadly are an aspect of Star Wars that is usually an afterthought. For example, in Darksaber I believe, Pellaeon says something about the Executor nearly "bankrupting the Empire" when he sees the Nighthammer. Even if that was an exaggeration, a Death Star would have to be vastly more expensive than an SSD, so I'm sure they made a dent. It's just no one has bothered to write about the economic consequences. :p
And yet they still had about a dozen of them.I guess, being an interplanetary empire with literally millions of worlds really means that you can just spend whatever amount of credits on anything you want, and not be bothered with economical crisis or whatever.
Yeah, there were a lot of issues with that entire conversation. But that just sort of proves the point, one of the few times cost gets brought up, and it just doesn't make any sense.
I'm sure you could find similar discrepancies in source books listed credit costs for ships, or the price Han Solo asks for taking Luke and Obiwan (10,000 credits for a starship?).
I think the Empire claimed the Trade Federation's wealth, along with the rest of the mega Corps. Which what the Corps. did, it makes sense that the Empire Nationalized all trade
