Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. So a lot of people have been asking when the Rebels will be ready recently. Usually my policy is never to never give a firm date, unless its so close to finished that we're just looking for any final little things to fix. However, last week I said that we were hoping to get an update out by the end of April. Sure enough, turns out that might not happen, but for the best of reasons!
In that comment, I did guard myself by saying that target assumed I didn't get any new models to play with. Well, turns out in the last few weeks, I finally got a hold of a lot of new toys I had been meaning to get for quite some time. As a quick sample of these, behold a beautiful new Victory-II Star Destroyer model by Maxleof.
Don't worry, we are still working as fast as we can on the Alliance, and while I will no longer promise a release this April, I promise you the results will at the very least be much more aesthetically pleasing! And we will still attempt to do something on an ever most important day in a galaxy far far away...
