Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
Before anyone gets too exited, no, these guys won't be in the next release. But we are still hard at work developing the Mandalorians. Now with the updated shield effects (which should be a bit more subtle now compared to the developer journal), they look better than ever I think.
By the way, what does everyone think of the blood red shield color for them?

I like the red. If ever a colour could be used to fit the Mando'ade, it would be either a dark red or a bronze colour. Everyone always tries to shoe-horn in the Boba Green or something. Green isn't a particularly martial colour, it's just good camouflage.
Well, for Mandalorian soldiers camouflage makes more sense. Not much green in space though, so rest assured our Mandalorian ships will have plenty of red and bronze.
I've seen the term Mando'ade used a few times, but alas my Mandalorian to Common dictionary doesn't translate it well. :p My best guess was that it is a conjugation of Mando'a, but that doesn't really make sense here.
Mando'ade means 'Children of Mand'alor,' while Mando'ad means 'Son/Daughter of Mand'alor.' Mando'a is the language, Mand'alor is the Primarch of the Mando'ade.
Been ages since I've had to apply the language, so I'm a bit rusty. I mainly use the wookiepedia article on Mando'a for reference on words I'm not sure about.
