Was excited to play the newest version with 1.84 finally out. However, once I had downloaded the new version, the game would crash on loading. I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it multiple times. Same problem. I can load the game under the vanilla rebellion and on other mods but when I try to enable this mod it crashes with a mini dump after a few seconds of the loading screen. I have checked the integrity of the game cache. I followed the installation instructions on this forum to the letter. I used the large file aware application as specified. I used the exact enable mods as provided in the zip file. I have done all I know to do and it does not work. Please help. Thank you.

The new version is 1.85, not 1.84. So make sure your Sins has updated.

What is your checksum when you try to apply the mod?

Sorry typo on my part, meant to say 1.85. Yes, it is updated accordingly. The checksum shows as: 153136810. Once I click apply it mini dumps in a few seconds and crashes.

It sounds like you may be enabling the mods in the game itself. Have you tried setting up the EnabledMods.txt file before launching the game? The file should look like this:

TXT
Version 0
enabledModNameCount 2
enabledModName "Star Wars Interregnum Alpha 3.21"
enabledModName "Enhanced 4X Mod 1.811"

Also make sure there's an empty line below the last line of text.

I have done it both ways. The game crashes during start up when it is enabled before starting. I can start it in vanilla or another mod without any issues.

Are you sure you're not using any other mods? The correct checksum with the mod order Service Disconnect showed is 153154122. Somehow something is a little off.

I have that exact checksum and it will mini dump every time. I've even reinstalled the game, mods, tried a new drive. Something is wrong within the mod I believe, no other mods I tested gave me such issues.

Maybe it's possible that the mod is reliant on the new Outlaw Sectors DLC to work, have you guys bought that?

Also have you been able to run previous versions of the mod in the past before sins was updated to 1.85? Just kinda throwing ideas at the wall here...

Well is it? I have the same issue and I do not own the new dlc since I don´t think the content is that great for the price... I

I'm having the exact same problem and tried the same steps as above. I DO own all the DLC, though my Checksum is different: 82507351.

This thread is very old, I'd need more information specific to you problem.

Your checksum with the latest version of Interregnum (Alpha 3.31) without minimods should be 156995455. See this post for instructions and a video on how to install the mod, just to make sure everything checks out. Moddb.com
