LAAT is goes a long way when landed. Can you fix it?
Because the aircraft in this game works like planes we can't really do anything about that unless its scripted into the mission.
Now i seen earlier videos of units calling down support vehicles. Could you do this with Say a LAAT dropping off troops instead? Just a thought.
Yeah, Recon has a big point. Maybe just have it so LAATs can drop down and infantry can disperse?

Yup! We have been working a lot on high quality animations to make them as in-sync and realistic as possible for GEM2;).
About Imperial Army Troopers, They aren't really included in the mod right now(unless you count the AT-ST driver), But because of their huge numbers and influence they will definitely be worked on, eventually.

Will the new version of the LAAT gunship have the texture of Shark ARC?
And another question. If I have a map created with LAAT gunships (of old), and when the new version of the Mod comes out use this map, gunships replaced me automatically or will I have to edit again the map? In other words, whenever a new version of the mod, will the maps that I have created with older versions units be incompatible?
The new LAAT will have shark texture.
Gunship will be remplaced automatically, but newest are more big.
All things with same name will be remplaced automatically.
If you haven't done new breeds and if you haven't add something whose isn't inside the mod, everything will work so.

May I Make a suggestion, something with the AT-AT. I know I'm being "that" ******* but I just had an unhelpful thought I'd like to share. The animations are great, and I don't know much about animation but I know how long this takes.
But, I think it would be cool or it may be a good idea to look at the original animations for AT-ATs and try to recreate them. From memory their legs bend a bit more, and they have a more clunky feel to them.
Like I said my experience in animation is limited use of the blender program and feel free to ignore at your whim or fancy. Just a fleeting thought in my mind. Looks good and can't wait for official release.
Will you perhaps later add a laat that can drop off an AT-TE?
