Expanding Fronts is a massive modification for Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds aimed to breathe life back into the classic LucasArts strategy game by adding various new units, features, and gameplay elements. Each of the 8 civilizations are being reworked and enhanced to make each feel more unique and authentic to the universe, while maintaining the classic Battlegrounds gameplay. In addition, the Scenario Editor is being filled with hundreds of new units, buildings, effects, triggers, and objects to allow campaign and scenario designers more freedom than ever before.

Nice depot. I love the creativity in these screenshots, but I do have a question. Is there something Im missing with the ctrl+s trick that allows off-grid object placement? I press the key combo and nothing changes. Is there a certain situation when I need to do it or something specific to activate the shortcut? Thanks in advance.
There should be a text indicator in the upper-right corner of the Editor screen that displays the current collision/grid placement status. If there is no such indicator, you may be using an older build of the mod.
I am using 1.1.1 and I dont have the text indicator. :(
The Grid options were introduced in the monthly updates on Google Drive; it should be available from there.

Are you guys going to include some units from SW Commander as well?
i want to get galactic battlegrounds and get this mod but before i do that, i want to know are there space battles in this mod? ive seen space backgrounds, screenshots of star destroyers in space and capital ships but ive never seen space battles. are there?
There are space-based skirmish maps, but capital ships are not usable in typical gameplay outside of custom scenarios and campaigns.
