Expanding Fronts is a massive modification for Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds aimed to breathe life back into the classic LucasArts strategy game by adding various new units, features, and gameplay elements. Each of the 8 civilizations are being reworked and enhanced to make each feel more unique and authentic to the universe, while maintaining the classic Battlegrounds gameplay. In addition, the Scenario Editor is being filled with hundreds of new units, buildings, effects, triggers, and objects to allow campaign and scenario designers more freedom than ever before.

It's even worst when people don't pick up their SSDs and Mon Cal Cruisers too!

Very nice!

Total wildman insanity. Do you think there could be a First Order and Resistance mod in the future?

Not impossible, but very unlikely for the time being. On top of distracting us from the existing workload, TFA didn't showcase nearly enough to build full GB civilizations off of, and anything we could make up would likely be rendered obsolete as new official stuff rolls out. We'll toss in units as they become available, such as BB-8 and the T-70 showcased previously, but full civs are a no-go for now.

Last thing we want to end up as is another one of these bandwagon TFA mods that posts a bunch of google-searched art/screencaps and promises the world but has no real work to show for it.

Hah, I think I know what mod youre talking about :P

And good idea there. We know the First Order has flamethrowers, heavy blaster guy, normal troopers, TIE Fighters and those cool landing ships, but nothing else

Maybe as expanded universe stuff comes out, you could make them and the resistance subfactions?

Only if we can get it to work right. This is the largest thing we, or perhaps anybody, has tried to put into GB, and the game already has trouble displaying some of its default large buildings.

You may not see it in the next release depending on how things go, but it'll be there eventually.

Hey next update can u fix the star destroyer so that its in the unit section instead of building section and uses the same sounds and picture as the "imperial entanglement's" cheat and make the decay look like this?
