A Star Wars mod for the great game "Nexus The Jupiter Incident" i intend to add ships from all eras, create great battles from star wars history and make history with some of my own and i also want to create a star wars feel to the mod.

Its finally here, the second release of the mod, sorry for the long wait but as you'll see it was worth it, this is almost a complete make over, many new ships (credits go to modelers Warb_Null and Evil_Jedi for these fantastic ships, Imperial Star Destroyer created by me) and mission locations however these missions are all random non storylined for you guys to play around with while im working on the real ones which will be in the next release "Thrawns Campaign", there are no fighters or bombers in these release for a number of reasons such as that i wouldnt have enough room for them, all eras of star wars history are included and every era has a few battles each, extract to your "C:\Program Files\Nexus - The Jupiter Incident\mods" (do not try to overight the old version, this is completly seperate) folder and enjoy this much enhanced version.

I'm having a number of problems here. Every time i hit the spacebar to pause the game it crashes. Same thing happened when selecting some ships and target with the 'destroy hull' command.
It's kinda difficult to locate the ships in the skirmisher, as they're not listed by faction nor alphabetically.
Other than that, it's looking great and the long wait seems to have paid off.
Balance between firepower damage and hull hitpoints is very accurate and the effects look awesome. Really looking forward to have some fighters in the next release.

iv never had those problems at all so i cant help you there, maybe try lowering the graphics on your settings and see if that works, ships arnt listed by factions because many ships are used by multiple races but they are grouped together in factions just not by the name,ok they are mostly in alphabetic order in their faction grouping, list is - rebel/new republic, galactic alliance, old republic, mandalorian, zann consortium, fel empire/imperial remnant, galatic empire, galactic republic, sith empire, CIS, others (stations, platforms etc)

have you downloaded the patch? if not then do so and it should fix any problems you are having, if you already have then i dont know why its doing it

hi i have a problem then ever i try to start the mod it goes black screen and pop ups with a error window what says:
NEXUS_DX9 INPUT ERROR

so whats wrong or what am i doing wrong. im running windows 7 also if that helps.

so it turns out the problem was located in the sound folder, i dont know why but when i removed the un-used sound files the game no longer worked so now i will release a patch that will contain all the sound files just to make sure it works

Great Mod, but it seems that in all the missions I've played, I'm always the Imperials. Is there a way to switch sides?

no theres not a way to switch sides and im sorry but your wrong......there are alot of missions where you play as other races, in fact it might be lacking in missions where you play as the Empire

I'm having a problem with this mod. I'm sure I did everything right, because the mod shows up in the modifications tab for the autorun menu. But when I start the campaign, it goes into a black screen and just sits there.

Am I supposed to wait for it to load or something? Or is this black screen thing a bug. I d/l the patch and everything.

i think it might be a Nexus issue, when i first played nexus i noticed that with each mod when you load it for the first time it takes a long time to load but once it loaded you would no longer have that issue again, however if you do not let it finish loading and then just exit the game it will just happen every time you try to play it, so yes you should try just letting it go for awhile (it might take quite awhile), if it still does not work then it might be that maybe your computer is not quite good enough (graphics card not good enough, computer too slow etc) or your computer is just not compatible with this game, i have never had this issue with running my mod, sorry that im not much help, have fun playing if you can get it to work
