Rebellion aims to create a realistic, multi level strategic war simulation based on the second world war, and combine it with the original trilogys feeling. You'll be managing vast parts of the Galactic Empire, and eliminate it's many adversaries, while keeping order and piece by supressing pirates and rebels, or you'll be fighting a war of attrition by leading the Alliance to Restore the Republic in a guerilla war against tyranny, spreading rebellion and hope across the galaxy.
Commanders do not fight with lightsaber blades, they fight with the blade of their mind.
I know the first guy is obv thrawn, but who's the other guy?
A rebel cell commander currently fighting with brainy smurf on a kids show.
Sato if I am not mistaken
Don't talk **** about Attack on Titan, it's a really good show.
For realz, will you be incorporating things from both canons?
I've made sort of my own canon from the base material. I only recognize the story of the original trilogy as canon (which I'm sticking to in this mod), although I'm using lots of various stuff from the EU and characters of Disney too.
Just don't tell me Darth Maul survived being cut in half, the Jedi were generals in the clone wars because they had shiny swords, JJBinks, Darth Vaders helmet is made out of special spacegeccoleather or that you can see sunsucking hyperspace planetlaser shots from different star systems. These, and a 1000 more things are just dumb according to the rules of the original SW universe. I love fantasy tales, I just don't take stupidity.
ps. Attack on Titan should be red. da red wunz go fasta!
I have but one nitpick for you-- normally, militarily, it doesn't make sense that the Jedi would just suddenly become Generals in the GAR, I won't disagree with you, but neither does the universe. The Clone Wars are entirely a plot to put the Jedi in a position where they are weak and can be easily purged-- hence, place them in a sudden position of authority to keep them where you can always see them.
That's the only light in which it makes sense, but that's how it is in both timelines-- though, I totally respect going your own way lorewise, and freely admit to doing this with my own projects as well.
Now that I'm done nitpicking I will say that this looks like one hell of a mod and I'm very excited to see it through.
I would have watched episode 7 if Hugo weaving was grand admiral Thrawn
Damn it! Agent Smith got Thrawn. Game over man! Game over!
Poor Hugo. Just imagine the look on his face every single morning when he looks in the mirror, and freaks the **** out that he's taken over by Smith. Also:

The pupils in Thrawn's eyes are bothering me more than it should.
I actually re-added them, because the original artist made him look like the common depiction. I thought: he couldn't really see without pupils now could he? We don't want our favorite high admiral to walk into an open airlock now would we? So now he's not blind as a bat, but still looks like the cool *high* admiral as he ever should.
I like the expanded universe of the clone wars though, the politics of WHY people hated the jedi: they weren't elected officials. The people in the galaxy hated that they had unelected generals in the republic's army.
One of the reasons order 66 was seen as a heroic act, people really did think the jedi were corrupt. I try not to get butthurt about the other stuff like jar jar, like you I pick my own canon.
And more EU sith stuff shows how ******* intense the sith are, if Vader can survive his mauling (get it?) then Maul can survive a clean cauterization in half. Just a thought, Im not looking to pick a fight, just share opinion, I love the mod!
When I first saw the Star Wars trilogy, in my mind, I always thought of jedi as the musketeers of Dumas, adventurous soldiers of the old republic with a magical religion and old style gallantry. Sort of like paladins in a fantasy setting, if that makes sense.
The clone wars storyline is really interesting, I like some of its concepts, I like the new star wars designs and visuals, some of the story elements. In my mind, the whole war translated to a space version of the american civil war, just as the original trilogy translated to the second world wars nazi occupation in europe.
Darth Maul was a cool looking character, but at least in my mind, cut in half and dumped in an endless shaft kills people. He played his role in the movie, his non existing story came to its end, the character was really just an asset to have a badguy to fight, nothing more. Bringing him back is a cheap cashgrab from my point of view.
Dude I love you man. You read my mind. Firstly I was playing UEAW for years and Always thought that Zaan powers should be rebel ones. Secondly ever Since Rebellion(Supremeacy)and XvT been around I have wanted to see this kind of combination of them. I was so excited I actuality created accountant just to post here. For me a big deal cause I hate doing that. kudos to you sir. I have 8.1 windows and can Run UEAW fine. Do I have a shot with this mod?? I wouldn't want you to be a Tech support. Just a ball park idea of my chances at comparability. This really is excellent X-mas gift for me to have found. THANKS!
I hope the mod will run on most modern pcs just fine, at least thats what I'm aiming for.
Thanks for the comment, you guys are that really keeps me going.
It's an Agent that admiral Thrawn!
