Liberty-Class Carrier-Destroyer image - Earth at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
hi everybody and welcome to Earth at war. This mod this mod is based of a massive war between the intergalactic empire, the Earth alliance and the Black hole pirates. The music is already done right now and we're now doing the modelling and the coding, however, we still need a rigger and a skinner and an additional modeller or coder would be welcome too.

Compliment : F-18 fighter (20(4 squadrons)), F-19 Bomber (15(3 squadrons)), F-20 Interceptor (6(2 squadrons), Boarding shuttle (3)
Description : Designed by the Earth Alliance to fill in their need of a heavy hitter that can launch full scale assaults on enemy space stations and other key targets. It has a powerful hull armor, from a extremely durable steel harvested from asteroids, but lacks sincnificant shielding. Its hull breach canons allow it to pierce through enemy shields, hitting the enemy hull directly, leaving great amounts of damage behind. It's the first in a line of large battleships, simply, because the Alliance is far behind in tech, they need large ships, to install many weapons on to overwhelm the enemy units.
Will there actually be Boarding shuttles in the mod?
If that can be coded yes, they are used for taking over small ships, up to cruisers

Hmmm. Interesting design but looking over this and the previous capital ship theres one important item missing from both - a Fighter hangar. Niether has them modelled into the actual mesh so would need to included before a final release.
You would be wise to do revisions for any capitals your using that are missing this feature otherwise you'll have models whcih look strange with fighters appearing to fly through the side/front/rear of the hulls.
I see your concern, the blue faces are supposed to be hangar shields, so the fighters spawn from there, I agree it's hard to see in this pic, my apologies for any confusion.
