What happens if you play 'Master' plus Realistic Weapons? (Games : S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl : Mods : STALKER Complete 2009 : Forum : General Discussion : What happens if you play 'Master' plus Realistic Weapons?) Locked

Hello everyone,

I've heard people say that to make Stalker games realistic in terms of gunfights you have to play on Master dificulty i.e the Mater setting is also the realism setting (for example Misery mod is locked to master, and that was awesome),

But I am incredulous, in other games harder dificulties merely increase enemy numbers or buff enemies/nerf the player to unrealistic levels, so which is it?

And if the realistic weapons addon provides all this on 'normal' setting, does it remain realistic on 'master' setting or will I bleed out from a cut on my big toe? (in other words will I unwittingly apply realism multiplyers twice over and defeat the object)

Just looking to get the best experience from the off =)
