Hiya Just bought the game, played it for a bit, decided it looked extremely dated therefore installed this mod. Slight problem though. After the splash logo fades my screen goes blue but the game continues to run as i can hear it through my speakers so it hasnt crashed. I had this problem on the vanilla version of the game and managed to fix it by modifying the user.ltx file to start in 1920x1080 resolution rather than the default. This cured the problem and ive had no trouble since. However since installing this mod its gone back to displaying the blue screen on startup. Modifying the user.ltx file has no effect anymore and it persistently boots in a resolution in which my tv cannot support. Im assuming the mod doesnt use the user.ltx file for its preferences on startup. Does anybody know how i can force it into a desired resolution? Many thanks |
