S.T.A.K.E.R : The Zone and The Other Zone mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

a Stalker named Yevhen witnessed the Disappearance of his best friend in front of his eyes after they barely survived a psi storm, Yevhen was devastated and couldn't handle the fact he lost his only friend to the zone, Yevhen reach Out to the scientists in Jupiter to get some explanation to what happened to his friend, the scientists mentioned something they call it "The Other Zone", Yevhen noticed the terrified look on the scientists' faces when they were talking about this "Other Zone"

After 3 disappearing events where stalkers disappear in front of their squad's eyes, a week ago one of the stalkers who disappeared in the second disappearing event was magically appeared out of the thin air in the middle of the building in Krug Antenna Complex in Zaton where a Group of stalker were taking cover after a psi storm started.

The Notes that was found on the dead stalker tells the crazy story, the dead stalker was alive for one week in Jupiter but there is something different about the place, it wasn't the same Jupiter that we know, the stalker said "Jupiter was dead and empty, there no signs of life, no mutants and no stalkers .. But... But I feel like there is something or someone is watching me but I can't figure out what it is, I kept moving because I was scared to stay in one place for too long and I can't sleep because I feel like death is waiting for me in every corner, all my senses are telling me to move and stay vigilant"

Based on the information available to the scientists they come up with the theory of "The other zone"

What is"The other zone"?

The theory says that after every psi storm, a portal to a parallel world opens in random locations and swallow any stalkers or mutants unlucky enough to be in the same location.
It's just a theory... We don't know yet if the portal opens after every PSI storm and we don't know for sure if the portal appears randomly

The monoliths and "The other Zone":

The brainwashed group, the group that everybody in the zone hates break the silence, The monoliths reach Out to the leaders of all factions with troubling information about "the other Zone"

Everybody was shocked that the monoliths would share this kind of information with the other factions, they didn't do that out of a good heart they did it he's they were terrified of what they found in the other side of the portal.

Based on the monoliths info, the random appearance of the portal started in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and expanded to other areas reaching Jupiter and Beyond

A lot of monoliths soldiers died trying to find the portal and cross to the other side and some of them succeed but they died there after days later, the monoliths were able to find some of the Dead soldiers the portal spit them out in different locations, their notes held shocking yet valuable information that changed the main monoliths objective from trying to control "the other Zone" to find a way to destroy it or at least stopping to portal from appearing again .. Because it's a threat to the zone as we know it

what the monoliths know so far about "the other Zone" based on the notes from the dead monoliths soldiers:

- "the other Zone" is an exact duplicate of the Zone we know, at least we can confirm That Pripyat and Chernobyl NPP are the same

- "The other Zone" is dark and creepy, The weather is strange, we don't know if we have the right suits to send people there, probably you are going to die If you go there without a special suit

- No Signs of Life, no birds, no insects, no Mutants or humans .. Just nothing

- crossing the portal is exhausting... if you are low on health ... You are dead, if you don't have enough food and water to keep you alive until you find the portal again to get back home... You're dead

- someone or something is killing everyone who survived crossing the portal, it's not a mutant and not a human either .. you better not stay in one place and try to keep your eyes and ears open, and watch your behind

- we don't know yet who is killing the soldiers, but all the notes mentioned that the soldiers felt they are being watched by something or someone, and they feel like they are in danger and about to have a panic attack if they stay too long in one place

The Joint Task Force:

Military, Duty, Ecologists, Monolith and Clear Sky With the help of the Legendary stalkers Strelok, Ghost, Fang, Guide and The Doctor decide to work together to find the portal and Cross it in order to understand "the other Zone" and figure out a way to stop it

Yevhen's journey:

You will play as Yevhen, your first objective is to gain popularity and reputation among the factions so you can convince them that you are qualified to be part of The Joint Task Force to find your missing friend
