We are looking for a weapon modeler.

The main goal of this mod is to deliver you the best sniper experience ever delivered in a video game. mostly concepted from games such as call of duty and the battlefield series, where you'd have to sneak upon your opponent and eliminate him without anyone noticing where you are. Basically your goal is to find a good sniping spot, and hide there until you see your target.
Well, I want to get straight into the news, without no introductions, but heck, for those who know the mod, welcome back, for those who don't know, Welcome.. Read the summary.
Basically, few things that I have changed since the last update, (it's not public of course, just letting you know).
* Sniper reticle.
* Points system.
* Cash system.
* Weapon animations.
* Menu layout.
* Source scheme.
* Team panels.
* Game sounds.
* Player sounds.
All of those have been edited or changed, just letting you know.
And now for a different topic, we are looking for a MAPPER, yes.. Someone that can show us some good work either with open spaces or closed spaces, expert on HDR lighting is must. Basically, high quality lighting, and realistic mapping considering real life consequences (yes).
Also we are looking for a weapon modeler and a skinner, which also, has a nice portfolio of their work, which has a lot of free time, and can be committed to work until the initial release of the mod.
We have achieved a game with a basic looping game mode, which is quickly adapted by the players.
Shoving away the multiplayer gameplay for a while.
im a weapon modeler and i have a friend who models weapons that is really experienced also any chance we could help with any modeling?

Not dead. I got drafted. in about 3 years from now, I will have time to work on it.
hahaha 3 years... well, good luck. This was exciting to think about happening, but I highly doubt it will now.
Guess what?
All I can say is 3d scopes.
I love them. So bad. It's just the effect that makes me tingle inside. If you don't know what i'm taking about, then play Insurgency or Red Orchestra. The scope is zoomed while the area around it isn't.
I'd really like this in the game. I'd be amazing.
Anyway. It's looks great right now, good work men!
Heres a few requests i would like to say, that i think would make this amazing... First off, make sure that ghillie suits actually blend in with the bushes and grass, or else theres no real point in having one... Second, make sure that the grass and bushes load at far distances, because i know in some games ill be hiding in grass, and at a far distance the grass isnt even loaded, so im basicly laying on dirt. Another thing, make sure the rifles can have ghillie suit stuff on them, it will help them blend in. I saw in the summary above that its based off the Call of Duty and Battlefield Series in sniping... so if there happens to be a HUD that shows a red dot when firing an unsilenced weapon like in call of duty, make sure theres silencers... and try and make the sniping experience more like in Battlefield, I hate that unrealistic quick scoping and no scoping. Make big maps, large areas, also a another little request, make a giant forest map, maybe have a ton of forest, a few little clearings with some logs and fallen down trees to take cover behind. I sure hope this will turn out really well, it looks good this far.
also, if stealth is going to be a big thing in this mod, then you should make it so we can go prone, lay down on the ground... I don't own Half Life 2 and i've only briefly played the demo, so I'm not sure what is up about that, whether your already able to or not... you should make some pretty noticeable muzzle flashes, for unsilenced weapons, and just a little bit a of smoke come out for silenced rifles... Maybe have a pistol or knife as a sidearm... i would prefer a knife, much more silent, and try and make it one or two hit kill weapon if it is a knife so you arent running around trying to kill someone with a knife... details in the maps would be nice, like extremely dark nights, i hate it when im in a dark area, and its not dark enough that i would be hidden, and detailed forest/jungles/ wooded areas, some nice grass to crawl around in with a ghillie suit, some hills and valleys below them for you to snipe off of. Just some requests, this is your mod so you dont have to make them go in-game, just something for you to think about! I've been working on a deep mechanism of world blending and environmental obstacles. You see, I can't reveal much for now, but I promise you that in the next few weeks, I will release a news update containing all the features that are currently in development!

Yeah a really dark night time map with flashlights so you actually have to find people. Maybe some nightvision like in underhell.
Trust me, ive been waiting for something like this for a long long time, so ill be watching... and I don't own Half Life 2, but it's only $10 on steam so ill have it soon enough, especially for this, once its finished!
You don't have to buy half life 2! ;) it uses the Source SDK Base 2007 (just install it from the tools library on steam)
It uses source which runs of any source game css tf2.
oh really? sweet, i mean im going to buy it anyway, it seems like a really good game, but ok cool. I have Left 4 Dead 2, which is source, and now I got Team Fortress 2 since its a free game now! So yay!
