Splitscreen on L4D 2 (2 persons play on same pc)

Hello ! i tried to put splitscreen on L4D 2 another day with the codes of L4D 1 but...it doesn'tworked :C.
But i worked alot and now i have it and want to show you :D
Lets go,first,to not make the second player control the first player,do this : dowload these things below :
Ppjoy.bossstation.dnsalias.org
and install these.
*open the paralel port joystick,configure joysticks and go in "add..."
*on paralel port,put LPT1,click in add and wait the windows install the drivers,later,do the same thing but change the "LPT1" for "VIRTUAL JOYSTICK",click on add again and wait install
*go on joyids and put the virtual joystick on the "1." and the LPT1 on the "2."
now,the player 2 will control the player 2 and the player 1 will controll the player 1 .
now,go and download this :
(TO DOWNLOAD,ON THE FINAL OF THE PAGE,CLICK ON "SAVE FILE ON COMPUTER:CLICK HERE" )
and save on the folder : left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg
open the game,and,on the main menu,type on the console :
map XXX
(XXX is the map name)
and,wen you enter the game,type on the console :
exec Two_Players
wait until it's loaded and be happy :D
ps : it work with the xbox contoller too,if you have it,you don't need to do the ppjoy and the joyids whole thing,just in the loading map screen,unplug and plug again the controller.
to change the name of player 2,type on the console :
name2 XXX
and change the XXX with the name of the player 2

i have a Xbox controller, and i am confused.this is what i am doing. i type in the local host thing .i type in consle the map, and it loads. i unplug the contoller and plug back in while its loading. when the you get to the first person view i type in +jlook then exec Two_Players. the it says cant execute Two_Players. btw it stays in one peron view
Im currently try to get a logitech dual action to work as player 2 however nothing seems to be working. Im not sure if i have the parallel port and the joy stick id thing working correctly. can anyone run me through this?

1more 1 more thing. u need to turn off water view. look up how to. it messes up with splitscreen.
1 more thing. LOGITECHS DONT WORK WITHOUT AN XBOX CONTROLLER EMULATOR! LOOK UP LEFT 4 DEAD 1 SPLITSCREEN SO U CAN GET THE EMULATOR!
and i forgot to mention the anagolg stick options. so u dont confuse anything.
also, if u r wondering how to make your controller analog sticks move ur screen up or down, left or right, with duel action, go to the option from the controller manager, and click propites. go to bind with or the bottom of the window for left or right, mouse Y axis i think. then go to the up and down, click proties and go to the bottom of the window, and set it to mouse X axis. i hope i helped!
ok. i reged to reply on peeps with logitech duel action controllers. 1stly, worst choice for left 4 dead 2 splitscreen. im going to tell you how YOU can fix it. i did it by reconfiging the buttons on my controller. i used the logitech device manager. if u want it, go do cnet download.com and serch free driver updator. the program is somthin, somthin, free. u have to make a FREE acc on it. then, if u dont have it, download the driver for the logitech controller. then, once its done, reconfigure the buttons to your choice. then, if left 4 dead 2 is NOT in the games list navigate to harddrive, program files, steam, steamapps, common, left4dead 2, then the exe file for left 4 dead 2. then once you get to the main menu, go to the console, go on youtube and look up how to turn it on, type ss_map )remember theres a space after map)then type a map of your choice. then, if u want multiplayer, do so what it tells you in the paragraph above. remember THIS IS HOW TO FIX IT. I wonder if anybody know how can get this to work with a Logitech Dual Action controller? I have the same problem with theo365, the splitscreen works but the controller is not responding at all just like it's not plugged in.
