AArcade's niche is to provide uninhibited Windows functionality, but with a 3D world of shortcuts instead of a 2D wallpaper. This includes performance & compatibility equal to what users experience natively on Windows. Have you ever spent long hours in a video game, and didn't want to quit when it came time to do homework? AArcade turns your useless desktop wallpaper into a game world. You use your PC like normal, but AArcade is now your wallpaper. Launch your shortcuts from AArcade, or just launch them from Windows like normal. AArcade does not get in the way. There is a hidden world between worlds. A world that is normally only seen through lists, links, and menus. A world that we've known as other worlds have come and gone. A world that exists between everything we do on our computers. THAT is the world of Anarchy Arcade.

Today the 1st DLC update for SMAR•CADE was released that adds 8 new cabinets and 2 new props. This DLC pack contains the first set of highly requested game consoles in a variety of different cabinets.

Today the 1st DLC update for SMAR•CADE was released that adds 8 new cabinets and 2 new props. This DLC pack is called "Console Wars - Part 1" and contains the first set of highly requested game consoles in a variety of different cabinets. Just go to the Collect Rewards screen to get your new stuff.

There are too many game consoles out there to get them all into just 1 DLC pack, so in the coming months you can look forward to a couple new consoles being included in the DLC updates each time. This month it included the SteamBox, N64, and SNES console systems.

The first is a Steam Machine prototype modeled after the PISTON Console that Xi3 Corporation is to release next month. While the PISTON will not run Steam OS at its launch, it is said that a simple OS installation can turn it into the perfect little SteamBox. Included with all SteamBox cabinets is a Steam Controller that features a working display screen on it.

Next is Nintendo's classic superstar console the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Modeled after the original 1991 designs from Hiroshi Yamauchi, these cabinets are sure to take you back to the golden age of console gaming. The SNES controller's buttons are actually shaped differently so you know what you're pressing without even looking. Even these technical details are present in the 3D model to enrich the immersive experience of SMAR•CADE.

Last but not least this DLC update brings the revolutionary Nintendo 64 into your virtual world. This system jumped full force into the 3D era of console gaming and featured one of my favorite games of all time, GoldenEye 007. The unmistakable lines of this classic system and its unique controller are preserved to make your virtual experience just that much closer to reality.
