Are you a fan of Dawn of War's single player, but find yourself bored by the repetitive grind of most of the Soulstorm campaign? Are you looking for a more narrative experience than endless skirmish missions when playing as one of the many race mods available? If the answer to either of the above questions is yes, then this mod will be of interest to you. The Soulstorm: Strongholds mod unlocks all sixteen Dark Crusade and Soulstorm stronghold maps, allowing you to play them directly from the skirmish menu - cutscenes, objectives and all. More than that, though, it allows you to play using one of the many race mods currently available, in addition to the nine included with Soulstorm. Download and enjoy. :)

Description

Patch 1.7.2 brings some more vital fixes for various stronghold missions. Ensure that you have v1.7.0 installed first (the v1.7.1 patch is not required), then extract the contents of the zip folder to your Soulstorm installation folder, overwriting files when prompted. Check the readme file for more information, and as always report any issues here.

Hi Kasrkin84 you will make more upgrades putting other races or just are patch to fix issues of the Stronghold?

As new race mods are released, this mod will be updated to include them. I've also got plans for more missions.

1.7.2 has borked Hyperion Peaks. The starting army doesn't spawn regardless of faction. Instead HQ's and a builder unit is the only thing that spawns. I went back to 1.7.0 where everything functions normally. Just thought I'd let you know.

Hi Kasrkin84!
In the Rokclaw Mountains, i take Chaos as a race i don't know if do the same thing to the other races, well i have fatal scar Error-Execution Pause
and create enemy by the Apocalypse mod Kustom Stompa and Stompa, i see them bacause the spawn one group of mine orks and then kills them for fun and last orks are not the evil sunz in the game just like the older mods of strong hold.
