The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.

A great map for rucking when you just need to get to the other end. As it was in CS.

Holy ****, is the appropriate term for this pic. Plenty of appealing and appropriate atmosphere in this one.

I like the desaturated look in this one. As I recall the place was more lit in the original. As if you have put out the few fireplaces around for a grimm scenery in this version. A place for ambushes and fierce firefights I would say. Nice

The desaturation is in part due to AtmosFear 3, which tones things down a lot compared to the vanilla version and even AF 2. Plus I indeed took out most of the lights, it's a ruin after all and I felt there shouldn't be any electricity in it. It's mostly mutants and zombies in there, not the battlefield it was in Csky.

I can just imagine walking through here at night, got me flash light on Sgi5k assault rifle out looking round every corner, and see a figure standing at the end of the hall way, hit "L" very quickly to turn off light and there's silence and darkness, see my site o' meter shoot up, 1,2,3... And I'm dead:P looking forward to playing this exact map(:

Will the red-dot sight be an independent weapon-addon?

no, only 'real' scopes can be made addons due to the way scopes are handled by the engine, so all red-dot/holo sights are fixed.

Well can't you make scopes that looks like red-dot/holo?

... forget what i just said!.. there has got to be a way around this.. can't you make a pseudo-scope-kinda-object which, when you "attach" it, replaces the original weapon model with one that has got the attachments? if you know what i mean..

Well it could be scripted and I know it is how Dester uses multiple attachments for one weapon in his Arsenal Mod for CoP videos. But I don't know how the script works exactly. Also it would lead to even more meshes that have to be loaded into the game and therefore decrease performance a lot.
However it's not possible with how the vanilla game handles weapons, unless you'd turn the whole gun into a texture overlay.

Texture overlay = not good... yeah, it would require at least 2 extra models pr. weapon... alot of new models!

it's a big problem... you don't, by any chance, know how to modify the engine?

So there must be some good NightVison equipment in 0.45, cause we will need it. The old style in 0.41 made my feel High.
