Yes, I'm back.
I have some good and bad news though.
The Bad News.
My PC crashed due to frequent fluctuations and unexpected blackouts. So my last hard drive broke down, which is why I've been out. Why is that bad? Well, I left all my raw source codes for my mod there. So until I get my hard drive to work and extract them (which is a very low chance), my mod is partially dead until further notice.
The Good News.
When the new version of the SDK is released, I'll recreate the sources again which can take my time. Everyone should already know that this is my project out of boredom. And since that most things in my list of "what RA3 should be" is almost completed, It's only a matter of time that I end this. Doing the same thing over and over again can make you bored, which is my case here. Somehow the data loss made me restart my project, and I'll do.
I still have my classes on hand so I'll do this in free time.
v3.2 will be for the 1.12 patch, and will no longer work with 1.10 below.
CLARIFICATION:
The mod is not dead... yet (well, depends.) Though it might be on a temporary halt.
I haven't started on transfers yet, but I successfully retrieved the original source.
I'll do it in free time if I can.
um is there a chance you could have a installer thing?b/c for some reason that's the only way i can play a Mod.
good luck recovering the data! (i remember when this happened to my dad and he had to stay up for like 4 days straight trying to catch up on work :S) hopefully u can recover the data!
Good to hear that you are at it to recover the stuff, but would you please fix some of those nasty bugs that occurred in the last versions? Things like the power ability of the Soviet reactor that you could not switch back or buildings that increase in size when they're shot with a harbinger.
It wasnt just buildings it was everything O.o some things barely got bigger though... it was weird but strangly entertaining lmao anyways Good luck with whatver you DO, do man I love your mod though its great :)
The soviet reactor boost will stay in meltdown phase until I can figure out how to both switch off the upgrade and bonus power at the same time.
Being coded out of C&C3 means these power upgrades are permanent, unlike in Generals with china reactors.
And yes, this size changing attributes make funny results, which I'm sure wasn't unintended.
Well it seems I have more problems than I expected though.
Just to see if my PC can still handle stuff, I installed uprising first.
No surprise, it rebooted itself. Looks like it would take a while before I can mod and test again.
you can add nuke weapons or some units from ra2?????
