SEF FirstResponders v0.66 Stable release! SEF First Responders is coming along with the idea of a realistic and cinematic gameplay modification of Swat Elite Force. SEF 7.0 by Eezstreet is the base mod in which my mod starts , the only possible way to play Swat 4 nowadays. My idea is to expand the concept and explore boundaries of the visual assets and tactical gameplay. New 3d models for weapons , equipment and environment combined with realistic sounds , weapon handling , slower pace gameplay and AI tweaks to make Swat 4 feel more "heavy" and "dangerous" than any other Swat 4 experience you had before.

INSTALLATION:
just copy folder in main Swat4 folder.
In SEF_FR/Extra folder there is the EXE to launch mod.

GAMEPLAY:
-The Shield: combined pistols (or taser) with a Level3A rated tactical shield. Can be equipped by AI officers and they can move in formation with it ( MOVE-TO command for example ).
- Medical System: bandages that can heal the limping player or AI Officer.
- single bandage
- Medic Kit with 5 bendages
Press K (default key) to equip and Left Mouse buttun to use while near a wounded officer.
- Quick Reload: pressing Hold Command (CTRL default) + Reload permits you to quick change magazine at the cost of losing it.
- Breached Door Falling: Doors can now detach from the frame after a C2 explosion (for the maximum cinematic effect)
- Forced Arrest: you can arrest anyone who is stunned/gassed/etc at the price of a little penalty (-2)
- Blasted Doors with shotgun have now chance to be opened immediatly after the shot AI:
- Hostages can possibly comply by just seeing the officers.
FIXED:
- Barricade suspects behavior is working as intended
- Suspect Threat detection is now activated just before they start to aim to avoid delays (particularly in MP) and bad ROE detection
- Reduced Suspects and Officers punch chance to avoid fist fight "exploitation"
- Fixed bad istances where suspects are still holding a gun after been arrested

I was highly anticipating this update, counting each day, but i have to say, quite saded when it was out, mainly cos shield...
Still cut him some slack, its amazing work and i look forward to the next update!
I've been a long time fan of the SEF mod, and its the only way to play Swat 4 indeed.
- Amazing additions:
1.Medkit to heal your or buddies injured limbs
2.Shotguns may blow doors open
- Major Issues that need further addressing:
1.Shield needs lots of tweeking, ability to low ready and hide arm, increased protection as it can only sometimes stop 9mm rounds, still can get chest damage and headshotted, basically unusable at this point, NPC cannot use shield?
2.Aiming needs to be refined, if not sway should be removed,
cos even when aiming cannot hit centre mark or anywhere near.
3.Armor and Helmet weight and bulk values could further be refined.
4.Medkit abit confusing, not sure when can be used or not.
5.Equipment menu lots of issues, Maglite is gone, Optiwand stuck on 6 only.
6.Lockpicking 20Sec is ridiculous, must be reduced. If not addition methods of quickly opening doors should be inplemented, like Battering ram or punch it.
7.Linked to 6, Should dedicate a slot to breaching equipment, as im always forced to take shotgun, instead of a secondary weapon or pistol, very annoying and not fun at all compared to original game
Conclusion, if you like the First Responders then get this update, if not stick with SEF 7.1 til he gets to a stable build.

this is really a good news update
Really good update, shield needs some work since it basically only stops shotguns, makes 9mm JHP weaker but still damaging and anything above makes the shield irrelevant, aka Heavy Ceramic + Pistol would be better than the shield, not to mention such tidbits as lowering it and possibly hiding your arm? Oh yeah the addition of machine pistols with a shield would be really great.
Other than that? Really good update. I await the stable release for 0.67 with excitement! Those medic patches really help the gameplay if you get shot in the leg (really annoying), until then. Goodbye!

Does anyone know how to heal yourself?
i remember getting hit in the arm, the leg, and i couldnt heal myself.
i looked away from all the npcs and used the heal command, no0thing.
do i have to limp or something?
