The world in sedition is much like it is today, only with a different history. At the turn of the 21st Century, the world was finding itself more and more at war with itself. Countries couldn't trust each other, and politicians were leading entire societies down the drain with pointless conflict. It all culminated with the collapse of the US dollar. Half way into the 21st Century, the United States government finally went over its head. The deficit had grown so large that investors simultaneously pulled their money out of the US. With every action there is reaction. The US dollar collapsed, taking 90% of businesses down with it. Within 10 years following the collapse, communication between countries overseas abruptly stopped. Why it stopped no one is quite sure. What was sure is that the planet earth was immediately dropped into a dark age.
