A mod for "Star Wars: Empire At War - Forces Of Corruption" that seeks to change some fundamental aspects of how the game is played and introduces an alternate timeline to the Star Wars universe - all while attempting to retain the essence of the game loved by so many.
In the news item before last, I promised a pretty picture.
Here it is.
I started this project some months ago, but was forced to shelve it when I encountered a major problem with exporting.
Luckily, that genius by the name of Seregruth encountered the same problem - that doesn't make me sound like a nice person does it? - with his Yuuzhan Vong Slave-Ship.
I mentioned I was having the same problem and, when he got his issue fixed, he was kind enough to let me in on the secret.
Not sure if it is an issue with the number of animated bones sharing a mesh, or if it's too many bones fighting over the same vertices, but it's fixed.
He made all of his tentacles separate meshes, and I detached the forearms from my character as separate meshes, and then detached all the fingers on her left hand from that.
The moral of this story: As well as subscribing to Mods, also subscribe to people's profiles.
If I wasn't tracking Seregruth, I might never have got this fixed.
