A mod for "Star Wars: Empire At War - Forces Of Corruption" that seeks to change some fundamental aspects of how the game is played and introduces an alternate timeline to the Star Wars universe - all while attempting to retain the essence of the game loved by so many.
Please test and report back - unless a major flaw is found this is what will be included in the 1.0 release of the mod. (Hopefully first half of this year)
Orbital Weapons Platform
Buildable at the fith Tech Level on:
Mon Calimari, Kuat, Fondor, Sullust, Hypori, Mandalore, Coruscant and Bothawui.
Featuring 4 AA guns on the top, and a Turbolaser battery on each corner of the structure, it can, as part of a well-managed defense, pose a big threat to any attacking force.
The platforms shield generator is not targetable for attack.
There are some people I would like to thank, for help making this possible.
Firstly, Ironclad Games; Those who have played the games will recognise this as the TEC starbase from the Sins Of A Solar Empire games.
Secondly, EvilleJedi; The rotating turrets for this structure, and my decision to use them, came from his wonderful Venator model.
And, last but not least, Warb_Null and Sidious Invader of the EAW Gamefront Forums; Sidious for his link to a tutorial that helped a great deal, and Warb for his in depth explanation that got me over the line when it came to getting the Turbolasers working.

Some additional coding is required to get it available in game. (Making entries in the 'Hardpoint data files' and 'Game Object files' XMLs)
