From the depths, your journey home begins. Scintilla is about mystery, solving puzzles both of the gameplay and of the story, but there is also combat --and horror-- involved. Our themes come out of spiritual qualities, imagination, dreams, symbolism, and our goal is a vibrant, atmosphere-ridden adventure. This mod is being developed on Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and so it requires Ep2 to run.

Still, the lighting, textures, and overall feeling is very similar. Also keep in mind that Dear Esther's mapper is a proffessional, and I'm assuming youre not xD

Yar, the torches are hypnotizing in-game. I had orange flame first, but it was so boring and generic.. way better now. =D

OR if that was critique, you can do the same in real life if you throw some metal, like copper, to a campfire or any fire, and get it to burn. Well I dont know if it works like that, but metals give different colours.

Nah, I'm more harsh with my criticism. I really like coloured torches in games. (Coloureus Torcheus fetish maybe? XD)
