This helmet looks very good, but don't you think that chainmail should be rusty too? It looks a little too new, compearing it to the rest of helmet.
There is more movement in chainmail than there is in the rest of the helmet so it won't rust so fast like the rest of the helmet.
Hmmm... maybe You're right, but armor usually getting rusty while not used, and if it's not used chainmail should be as rusty as rest of the helmet. Or if someone just don't clean rust but still using helmet, chainmail should be at least a little rusted
The mail beneath can always be replaced.
