Were the helmets redone for them? They look very nice.

Love the snake-look design of the new helmet. Very unique and menacing!

According to the lore Anacondas are not human. Cobras are human.

You are right, DL are undead. There are Anacondas (inhuman) and Cobras (human) on the picture above.

They are top tier in the Snakes armies. The Cult is wealthy, knights look appropriate to their position. Dread Legion on the other hand ... check Wiki or find them in your game.

Uh...thanks? I don't know what the intent of that comment was. I have fought tons of sssssnakess already, including an army. I just didn't realize that the anaconda's (who are found in both DL and regular snake armies) were undead. That does explain why you can't upgrade cobra's further.

Why can't you capture serpent priestesses? They are human aren't they?

Just explained why the Snake knights are "pretty" and the Dread Legion Infantry are not. WIKI DLI: "Zombies [...] rumored to be the bodies of an elite Empire Legionnaire Legion, [...], they are likely captured and devoured by the snakes.". That is why DLI wear ragged version of Empire Legionnaire Armour. Appearance follows the lore.

...then why are anaconda knights undead, yet have there own atheistic? This isn't addressed on their wiki page. Maybe in life they were cobra warriors, in death they rise to continue even stronger?

"...then why are anaconda knights undead" Because at the moment we have only one texture style for inhuman units (with human body shape).

OP, They aren't technically dead. They're twisted abominations that are somewhat "living." Stop assuming their undead and everything will be answered for you.
