Single player first-person tower defense where your mission is to defend your hometown from hordes of invading alien creatures. --- Sanctum stared out as a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 3. Now it the students have started a game developer studio, Coffee Stain Studios, and are developing Sanctum as a standalone game using the UDK.
Here are just a few of the most recent ingame screenshots. They are however not showing actual gameplay.
Looks amazing!

Thank you very much, blackmodeler :) Very happy to hear that you're satisfied with what we've done so far. There's much more yet to come, be sure of that!

See we need more moders like you. Very good modeling and scripting! Im going to go to college to learn to work with the UT3 engine and C++. Im planning on pushing the Unreal 3 engine to the max. Idea? (Here is a big hint: Full level free roam! All levels are in one big world with a space section surrounding it. Like each level is a different planet! )
Sounds like some great initiative and I'm sure you can get far if you just put plenty of effort in it! Just don't expect it will be easy, as it tends to really not be. But in return you learn a great deal and you have a huge amount of fun on the road.
Also, the Unreal engine is a great choice. If you're going for a Total Conversion then I strongly advice the UDK engine. But if you're more for working alone/not intending to do all the content yourself, then modding for Unreal Tournament 3 is a better choice.
Best of luck and I hope to see some great stuff from you in the future! I wish you all the best!
