So glad to see this mod is still alive...really love it such great work please keep it up...on a side note I have been experiencing regular crashes when I go to villages to recruit troops it doesn't happenn all the time but regularly enough.
Does the crash occur when loading the dialog or the menu to recruit troops? If it's the former, does it occur when loading other scenes as well?
It happens when I click on speak to village overseer about 1/3
of the time I haven't had it happen at any other times yet.
It happens when I click on speak to village overseer I just had a battle in a village and had a lot of performance issues and another time I attacked bandits it crashed so it might be something with the village rendering...
What are your computer specs? Any issues running Native or other Warband mods?
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.2; 4GiB System Memory; GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M; Not sure what other specs you might need...I have no problems with vanilla or other stable mods
Is you OS 32 or 64 bits? I believe your crashes are a result of your computer running out of memory when loading the scenes, you can try to lower graphics, make the Warband executable large address aware with this tool Ntcore.com (remember to back it up first in case somethings goes wrong) and you can try the lower resolution texture pack if the other options don't succeed: Moddb.com
I am actually running 64 bit I have no performance issues any where else including towns/cities...I suspect there is a memory issue but I remember this happening on an older version of the mod on a much better computer I had...IDK...I am also running the lower resolution texture packs already I will give the patch a try hope it works it would be a shame if not because this mod is so great...anyway keep up the great work and thanks for making it.

i used to fear there was not going to be a mod that satisfies ancient history lovers like myself, then one day i saw the Rome at War icon on the mod feed, my heart raced and i clicked, once i saw the detail in the helms and armour and how accurate it all was i got emotional xD

so in this version and the last for me when two shield wall or rank formations of infantry meet the two bars do this weird circling thing while they stab at each other, exposing there backs to the apposing missile troops and getting tangled into a big mess, guaranteeing both sides get thoroughly mauled n take horrendous casualties. is this a known problem?

Sorry to those that already downloaded the mod but since only a few downloaded it so far I ended up re-uploading the mod with a fix to the broken tavern animations.

Maybe there's something wrong with your browser, try with another one or make sure the one you're using is set as default.

Probably a corrupted download, try to download the mod again. If the error continues, post the error message here else I can't help.
It doesn't work. I've tried with other mods some had the same probem some worked. I have 32 bit is that the problem?
Yeah that's likely the problem, the mod is more resource intensive than Native Warband and has more resources to load and that can go over the limit of what a 32 bit OS can handle.
As a last resort you could try installing the low resolution texture pack here: Moddb.com
This should reduce the load caused by textures but I can't guarantee that it will work.

Are you using Windows or a Unix operating system?

Quite odd if your performance is good and on a windows pc.
A possible solution is to go to the module folder:
...\MountBlade Warband\Modules\RaW 2.6 Beta
Then find and delete the following files:
mb.fx
postFX.fx
Resource\core_shaders.brf
Sorry but didn't work as i was doing a quest of the farmers running from a village after i talked with one of then the game crashed
Could you provide a screenshot of the issue/crash or a link to your rgl_log.txt file right after a crash? The rgl_log.txt file is in the main Warband folder where the executable is and logs game events as well as computer specs so it would be useful to try and diagnose the error.

Thankyou for downsizing the map, I remember in previous versions the map went up to like Britain and Scandinavia which I found annoying.
