Rise of the Crime Lords is a mod that adds the Black Sun Syndicate and The Hutt Cartel as playable factions along with multiple additions to the original ones as well as adding some new unplayable ones.

Galactic Conquest: Clusters
Player Faction: Empire
Occupying Faction: Black Sun
Result: Instant Game Crash

A fleet from the Black Sun faction defeated my forces over Geonosis and I sent a fleet from Ryloth to defeat them.

My fleet was composed of 4 Victory I, 6 Gonzati cruisers, and four Quasar style carriers.

The enemy fleet had one hero: "Perit", two Interceptor IV's, several IPV Mk II's, and a bevy of armed transports.

I had the battle all but won and there were only a few transports left when my fighters and the Victory I's killed "Perit".

The moment of his death resulted in an instant crash to the desktop without any messages whatsoever.

A few moments ago I loaded the auto save and fought the battle for the second time with the exact same result.

I am not sure if the problem is related to "Perit" or not because I have defeated him before in other GC's and never encountered this problem, although it could be. The AI deployed him only when nearly every other ship was destroyed.
