Rise of the Crime Lords is a mod that adds the Black Sun Syndicate and The Hutt Cartel as playable factions along with multiple additions to the original ones as well as adding some new unplayable ones.
Upgraded version of the mod. AI fixes, new launcher.
AI fixed, upgraded and fully compatible with Steam. Non steam users just unpack the .zip file into your "eawx" folder and run the mod with the custom "rotcr.exe" file. Steam users, just follow the standard steam non-workshop mod installation.
Is the black market bugged as Zann? tried setting up 2 markets one did't have the buy option and another that did have the buy option did't let me actually move Zann to be able to buy something
Why not remove the mission system? If people really want to keep the missions, then they should play the original FOC. Playing as the Zann becomes annoying with those missions on. And it will save you headaches when you do remove it.
I can't start the mod. Have installed just as the instructions but it won't start at all. I have the CD-rom version of the game. Is it something i'm missing?
Just delete the exe. Create a new shortcut from your swfoc.exe and edit to target line to look something like this:"C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - Empire At War Gold\EAWX\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods/Rise_of_the_Crime_Lords
Why is it on the Equal Footing Galactic Conquest map the Hutt Cartel starts out with only Utapau? I remember in a past version a long time ago they started out with just the forest moon of Endor (which makes even less sense) instead of Nal Hutta. You know; their homeworld?
It would make more sense if they start out with Nal Hutta, Tatooine, Saleucami, Hypori, and maybe Ryloth. Especially since they are really underpowered in the beginning of the game (or at least they were in 2.0 which is what I've been playing). Or at least map a map next version that starts the Hutt Cartel with these planets.

The Black Market is hard coded (as far as I can tell) to be usable only on Empire and Rebel planets. I tried to get around it but it crashes the game.
Makes sense you've given us loads of new units to use to make up for that though, love this mod and thank you for it

game crashed on campaign Bespin mission, the moment the load bar finishes the crash happens.

Must be an error or misidentification of your antivirus, it passed moddb virus scan and I made the exe persinally.
