Revenge of Revan is a Mod for the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2. This Mod not only gives you a whole New Story taking place after KOTOR2 but it also will have many New Features, Characters, items and hours of game play. For those who wanted a sequel to Kotor2....its coming.
Description
Revenge of Revan Demo (Beta) 1.08 gigs Zip (1.99 gigs unzip) The mod is a sequel to The Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Sith Lords). The game takes place 8 years after kotor2 where you will find the Jedi Order starting to rebuild as they find their place in the Republic that has been absent of the Jedi Order for some years. An event on Corellia will set events in motion as you try to unravel this mystery before its too late. RoR is a stand alone original story that allows you, the player, to continue your saga with whatever choices you made in kotor1 and kotor2 whether you use the canon setup or your own personal version. The mod is a bridge between kotor2 and TOR. You will see cameos and interact with some former characters from kotor1 and kotor2, depending on your choice setup.

I suggest 7zip. It is a free, open source program that has better compression than native Winzip, and can also open rar files (among many others).

And now will come the inevitable question, and I hate to be the one to pose it: when will the whole release come? Don't get me wrong, I am barely contained in my excitement about the demo, but when will the entire release come out? Do you have a planned date or are you still figuring out how long the mod will take to release?
I do have a planned date for Act 1 = half the game = 8-10 hrs of game play
I won't say what that date is but I do have a target milestone.

I suggested that Kaevee can also make a good character for your mod, because when she find a master in the Jedi Order whether it's Quan Drayen or somebody else like Bastila Shan. She can make a impact to the story line as well helping the Player.

The blue scene is not a bug, it's the module to are placed in after the credits.

Playing the mod right now, and only one criticism so far: the walking speed of the PC, and the fact that I can't edit because all the Appearance.2da file says is "C_Verkaal". But other than that, the mod is great, especially for a beta.
I've been a loyal kotor fanatic for years. I've always wanted a kotor 3, one never came. they told me they restored footage from the original version that was rushed, but the ending was still lacking to an extent. in my spare time i write about what i would have liked to have been the fate of every character from revan & the exile to all party members & the republic. i was told there would be little to no connection between these games & star wars: the old republic. i have been hoping against hope in one form or another for years that the greatest game i personally have ever played w/ give me the kind of closure you look for from a really great relationship that ended & you still don't know why. i am truly grateful for the efforts behind revenge of revan & hope to enjoy it upon its completion
This is a great mod. Though I also got a question. Small Spoiler Alert:What do you do after you enter the blue room or is it the end of the demo?
the blue room is just a place holder, or you could think of it as a bonus. There isn't anything to do in there, as it comes after the end of the demo (and the credits).
Basically, it is a "blue screen set", just like making live action movies. Logan used it as a test to see if there was another way to make game video. If you go back and watch the opening cutscene, you'll see the results.

Ive never downloaded a Demo before and never wanted to until today. I thank you for all your hard work and intend to give you a full feedback on my professional opinion. I use to be a professional Beta Tester and ill point out in flaws, hopefully there wont be many. Can't wait. Re installing KOTOT 2 Now.

FINALLY a demo, I have been waiting for something playable, I hope it lives up to what I have been hoping. After I am done playing I will post back.

There is one bug that was discovered. I can't say since it would be a spoiler. I just want to let you know I'm working on fixing the bug. I'm hoping to have the fix done/tested/ and uploaded by tomorrow night or Thursday night.

Im sorry i have another question. I get an error message saying "No images specified for button." What did I do wrong? I have the launcher file in the download.
Sorry Again I forgot to copy my laucher. Also is this because i did it after the patch download; My words to run the game are on the right side insead of in the middle.
I must be an idiot at doing this. I got the game to work but almost every other character can not speak. What did I do wrong?

When does it start? Does this replace the rest of the game or do you activate while your playing? Or is it like in the force unleashed where you choose a new type of "new game"?
Last question. Is there a place for help on the beta. I dont know if this is a spoiler but my journal tells me that i have a key and to go to a place with it in the jungle and when i go there it says its locked. I dont even rember geting the key but myjournal say I do.

Don't spoil it please! Also, this is great so far; I'm really liking how you did this mod!
My only problem was when you see the King; if you enter without your Master with you, he says a few words, then your forced to leave. If you go back in again, you'll notice he got duplicated and now the clone talks to you. I went back again finally with my Master once I realized why he wasn't saying anything to me, then it finally worked, but now there were 2 other clones of him rofl!
I would make sure you always have your party members with you just because of this.
The other solution would be to cause me to make the module so you can not change in or out party members.
In Worlds after the Demo you will have less of this since the dlg conversations have to be built that at least someone from the party is there to chime in during a conversation so as long as you have one party member usually it would not cause an issue. But right now make sure Drayen and later Uldir is in your party once they join.

Well, I just played the demo and I am amazed. Great job with this! I am looking forward to the full mod. :)
I forgot to put this in my last comment. Here's a flaw in the demo. When the player selects the lightsaber color and style, the option for a green saber with the Makashi style is missing.
I am using Win7 but my WinRAR does fine...
