Southron Edition 1.5
Southron Edition 1.5 is here, this version is being released as the final version of the Southron Edition branch of the mod.
1.5 will be the last release until the Black Edition and this version seeks to bridge between Southron and Black Editions.
One of the big changes and a very obvious one is the new camera zoom you'll have a wider view of the battle field now compared to the last release.
650 feet high from 450 and the zoom in has been fixed as well so you'll have a clearer view of the battle.
So far all (except 2) Skirmish/MP maps have been updated and some of the campaign maps.
The mod is gradually being rebalanced with some global values being adjusted.
The building armour has been adjusted once more to strike a balance between what it was in 1.4 and what it was in 1.0.
I hope now that buildings don't drop in seconds but also don't last forever especially when the proper units are used and upgrades.
Resource production has been reduced overall and better levelled out so there's a more even increase over time.
Build speed modifiers for levelling up structures have also been adjusted to be smoother.
Specialisation systems have been removed from more factions like Mordor and Imladris in favour of more streamlined factions.
Mordor loses the Gorgoroth Skirmishers, Snuffler and Ungol Troopers but gain the Morgul Archers and Cirith Ungol Enforcers and without the need for choosing a tribe.
While Imladris loses their Mithlond units to the Free Peoples they get access to Glorfindel and the late game units without a Specialisation now.
Gondor loses their Specialisation system with Faramir gaining some improvements from both of their specs.
Free Peoples also lose their 2 specs with the Forochel units becoming exclusive to a new summon spell.
Free Peoples
Free Peoples have under gone some changes to the faction gaining new units like the Ered Luin Defenders, Mithlond Pikes, Mithlond Swan Knights and Buckland Watch.
New upgrades, new spells and lots of other changes.
Free People can now summon Tom Bombadil, Lossoth men and Cirdan.
Vetrkarl will no longer be able to built but you can summon him when you get the Valar Favour tech.
Free Peoples now better represent the Free Peoples with the addition of Dwarves and Elves that will make them a more fleshed out faction.
I hope to further update Free Peoples with the Black Edition so I'll be keeping an eye out for feedback.
Fiefdoms
Fiefdoms are set for an overhaul with Black Edition but the work has already begun with some changes already in place.
I've renamed the Specialisations Morthond is Anfalas and Ringlo Vale is Lamedon.
Duinhir is available normally and replacing his spot as the hero for Anfalas will be Angbor.
Fiedoms also now start out with the Lebennin Hillmen who can now repair structures and are stronger when nearby farms.
Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow, Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow.
The Dwarves of the Blue Mountains join the Free Peoples.

As I posted before, I really like this Game-Mode, I've played it in the past and I can't wait to finish this great Game-Mode! It deserves the title of the best Game-Mode so far!
I played skirmish, it's very good, but please tell me if the Good / Bad Campaign will work, because I also tried the Good Campaign but it cracked at Amon Hen ...
From my point of view this Game-Mode without the good / bad campaign will not be complete, it would be like a painting without a frame, or a statue without a base, Especially since I saw that you want to add some new episodes, which would be wonderful, especially since no one has ever done such a thing before!

The good and evil campaigns can be finished now.
I won't be adding any new missions anymore the workload is just too much.
I am in the process of updating a lot of the maps however, adding new units and maybe some other new stuff.

when I play for Good in a mission where they run to the elves, Gandalf is not displayed in the heroes , although he is in the mission , and after all the attacks when the tasks are completed, the mission does not end
Not only that, but at Amon Hen, the game crashes.
In my case I had an error in: maps\MAP GOOD Amon Hen\map.ini
So the fix was to change the lines:

to the line:

No matter what setting i put them on, they seem to be really weak and not really doing anything. is there a way to improve this?
What maps are you using?
The AI will only work on Official maps.
Yes im only playing official maps, the only Ai that gives a small fight is mordor, all other AI civs are easy to defeat since they just spam basic units.
Ive also noticed as for harad, that i was unable to build the mumakil.
i was playing on the 4 player, castle, mirkwood map (Official map)
Against 3 mordor. all 3 rush AI.
Ive done all upgrades, and builded all hero's
Mumakil require Outposts to build.

in Lotlorien, the Gandalf icon disappears and does not appear until the end of the company. it cannot be revived in the citadel
I play 1.0 version and Gandalf icon diappears from the hero panel starting with Lothlorien. Is this a known bug or I somehow botched the installation?
Also, I for some reason cannot install this 1.5 patch. Can you please give proper installation instructions to this mod? What is required, which path you must install to and etc?

Ciao a Tutti. Una domanda: ho il gioco originale, ho messo le patch dalla 1.03 alla 1.06, ho aggiunto come unica mod quella di aggiungere i CP, scaricando i file di questa mod mi funzionerà comunque o danneggerà il gioco? Grazie.
I don't undestand what the Valar Favour Upgrade Spell does, I just don't see any difference.
