The goal of Resistance and Liberation is to realistically portray the events and actions taken by the 82nd Airborne during their stay in Normandy. Our initial release will follow the regiments through a campaign that mimics that followed by the men themselves. The campaign will begin with players dropping into Normandy in the early hours of June 6th, with the ultimate objective of capturing the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. From there subsiquent maps will include missions based on other key areas after the D-Day.

Such a realistic and thoroughly made WW2-themed multiplayer with awesome graphics and sounds for free...it couldn't even be a dream some years ago)) From weapon smoke to real behavior of the machinegun's field of view - everything is implemented strikingly carefully!

The only three obvious (but quite minor) exploits I saw in the current beta are:
1) when you pull out the grenade's safety pin it looks as if it stays there))
2) the bayonet damage traces on the walls etc. are horizontal slashes, not vertical (that is the case in WW1:S as well)
3) forced reloading when resupplying from a crate, even if the clip in the weapon is full.

I wondered what the next stage of realism could be...maybe the trees swaying and leaves rustling in the wind?))
