What went on in those final weeks?
Play as Trent, an Umbrella Agent sent to assess the facility and retrieve Umbrella's precious research. A man with a shadowy past and his own agendas.

The game crash was fixed when I restarted the computer.
I see a lot of potential in this game. I really hope the developers keep doing work and we get a full game in the near future.

It is still being worked on. There isn’t an eta yet.
Not a single update since 2022 June and they say its still worked on? How? Where and what exactly?

These things take time to make. The Resident Evil 2 engine and coding isn’t documented so things have to be reverse engineered and tools made and refined.
Code has to be tested trial and error as well. Modding Resident Evil 2 is not straight forward. Please be patient.
Oh I am, just usually modders like to showcase their work, tiny progresses along the way, any news, note or feature being added, anything really.

the game crashes and closes as soon as I open the first door...can it be fixed?
That is because you are using the Re2 exe and not the revisited exe included in the mod pack. The default Re2 exe should not be used.
Do you have a Patreon?
I have sourcenext + classic rebirth a jour + samless HD and it doesn't work for me, even though I admit I'm really bad!
