For the first time, we have released a teaser image of our main character up on the splash page. This comes along with a hint as to what the storyline will entail. We've been keeping quiet on the plot ever since we hired story writer Doc_Brown of the now defunct "Resident Evil: The Escape" HL mod. We also continue to work on other characters and enemies that will be unveiled shortly when the new site layout debuts. We'll also continue to release behind the scenes WIP shots of our models as they are made.

Another Resident Evil mod. Joy.
Horrible model.Just horrible. You even have bad smoothing groups and the texture is ugly.
It's not that bad, i've seen a lot worse models posted on here. The texture is 256x256 for a reason. Plus it's only the face, not the entire body, i'm happy with it and others seem to be too.
Lay off them , Incognito.
What is the deal with going everywhere possible and slamming every single model or texture you see?
It seems like insecurity , or malicious intent. And no it's not helpful or constructive, or mature.
I just started browsing the Moddb forums and it seems like every thread i browse with someone elses work has you jumping in about midway and tearing it apart, then drawing fire from everyone end trying to look like you were doing it in a good spirit all along...

for a 1462 poly entire body model, its not as bad as every is saying it is. We aren't aiming for HL2 graphics at all we are aiming for somewhere around HL blueshift.

it's not 1462 in the face and that's all that is being shown(the face). It's 1462 total including the body and since your not on the design team, you don't know what we are aiming for gameplay wise. If you want HL2 polygon's count, play HL2. Everything is low poly for a reason.
To be fair if you model all your chars and other items to farcry spec (3500 per merc?) and jam your farcry mod full of multiple enemies, explosions (usually means physics) in a vast expanse or ongoing interior...
you will probably **** of alot of people with lower spec machines who have to optimise the hell out of their machines to get a comfortable frame rate.
So cutting down on the polys sounds like a viable way to improve performance at least - nice one.
Keep up the good work, looks good so far.
you have me intrigued as to why its so low poly.
ill be keeping an eye on this- see wat you come up with
keep up the good work
