Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
Important Information regarding heroes in the mod.

Hello everyone, I am posting this on the 3 sites we post info on for all of our fans to read. Daily, I receive PM's emails, and instant messages not to mention posts on the various sites from fans asking me to put in this hero or that hero. We have had requests to add heroes from Obscure comics, the Clone Wars show, the movies, etc. Now we would love to add in every single Jedi that existed from the clonewars era but that would take ages to model, rig, animate and code in.. and there is no point to it. While we are sure some of you want Admiral Yularen in the mod we are sorry we let you down. I have had many nasty emails sent from fans demanding to know why their favorite Jedi is not in the mod and may I rot in hell for not adding in he or she. To be honest, its a bit exhausting to work on this mod, deal with real life daily and answer these emails and PMs not to mention having to respond to various fanboys on MSN asking the same repeated questions. While I do love hearing from the fans, and I take constructive criticism well, repeated comments like "When its coming out?" or "Is Rex in the mod?" are VERY distracting and when I have to answer these questions it takes time away from me completing this mod. Sadly the volume of emails, PM's,IM's, etc I do receive from fans is impossible to answer. If your message you sent was ignored, dont take it personal. Its most likely I was busy responding to another email from someone asking me If I will be adding in the Jedi Chuckwagon or if I can make a Anakin podracer variant or will there be clones riding on Shaak's. Now moving along, to the topic at hand and the heroes. Most of your requests I have read, and through the mods progress we have made changes based on fan response or fan requests. Please read below carefully as I will no longer respond to ANY questions regarding characters from this point on....
With regards to the Clone Commanders. We CANNOT add in every 1000000000000 clone commander you guys wants. I am sorry. We know you guys love the clones but give us a break.
Commander Cody will be in the mod as a MAJOR HERO
Commander Gree,Rex,Bacara,Bly, and Deviss will be in the mod as Minor Heroes however you cant build them as their appearance is location based so its random.
Appo,Neyo,Fox,Wolffee,Thire,Stone,Ponds,Levet,Clutch,Bow, Odd Ball, Keller,Jenks and any other clone will NOT be in the mod ever!
Now for special clone units.
ARC Troopers will be Minor Hero units you can purchase from the ARC training centers on Kamino, and Carida. You will be allowed to build 10 of them Max.
Deltasquad WAS a major hero, however based on fan input we have decided to make them Minor heroes, able to be built on Kamino.
JetTroopers. Will NOT be in the mod but may be in the expansion as we do have rigged models ready for them.
Omega Squad will NOT be in the mod or an expansion EVER.. So dont ask.
Clone Pilots,Gunners,Drivers,etc. will NOT be in the mod or expansion. Its bad enough we decided to make specialized clones for the AT-RT and BARC. That is enough and we would love to add even more detail by having correct clones for each vehicles but we just cant.. sorry.
Ranks: Yes, the clones will have various rank colors and each unit will have the correct number of Non-Comm and Comm Officers. Dont ask how this works.... ;)
Units: Yes larger clone units are in the mod. The 501st,327th, 212th, 41st, 7th Sky will be in the mod. Any other units will not. Again, I have posted numerous times on how these large units work so please use the search function on either IA2's forums or EEAW's forums.
Other clones. Security clones ARE in the mod and will be able to be used on Coruscant and some other special maps. Due to popular request we added in Senate Commando's also for Coruscant to augment the other clones.
Armor: You will be able to build Phase 1 clones up to Tech 4 then after that its all Phase 2 clones. Skirmish is only Phase 1 clones. This switches automatically.
This is it clone wise.. we do have variants mixed in with the clone units. Some have carbines, some have rifles, some have bandoliers, some dont, some have dirty armor some have brand new. But as for more custom clones we are not adding in anymore.
Palpatine is in the mod of course however he acts like Mon Mothma in EAW. We are not adding in a ground model for him as we don't think its useful.
Now onto the Jedi lineup.We are limited to Major heroes. Sadly the engine only allows 11 heroes to be displayed on top of the screen at one time. So that means unless we wanted Jedi to be purchased and built, but that is kind of wrong. Jedi should not cost the player credits. That is just against the purpose of the mod. The Republic had the Jedi and if you fight the Republic the Jedi go along. Its not, "Ok well the Republic is broke so I guess no Jedi will fight." ;) Originally we had planned to have 18 Jedi in the mod. However as we realized this was not possible, we scaled it back to 11.

Now with the popularity of the Clone Wars show we had overwhelming demands to add in Ashoka Tano. So we complied so now Ashoka Tano is on the list BUT this means we have 11 and even with 10 its too many. We need to fit Cody and Palpatine on the hero bar. So a tough choice needed to be made. Do we not include Ashoka? Do we remove a Jedi? Then came the demands for Kit Fisto... while we got many demands for various Jedi the ones for Kit came the most. So.. for the last time we have changed the lineup a bit and this will make things fit on the hero bar and satisfy all the fans. Below is the FINAL list of Jedi heroes in the mod.
We will be including the Shaak-Ti and Barris Offee in the modding pack that will come out after the mod for those modders that wish to include them. We will also include the source for Ki-Adi-Mundi as well. We know this will anger some of you but we cant please everyone.
We did consider making a Jedi Temple building where all the Jedi could be built, but again the buildbar for land is getting crowded so tough decisions had to be made.
