Sure, this is currently used by the Allies, but it was then used by Nod in TW1. Considering the fact that Nod emerged from the Scavengers, Scorpinov was asking how the Scavengers got it and remained using it all the way towards TW1 under Nod control.

If you're referring to the bulldozer blade, it's dug into the ground when preparing to fire, in order to counter the massive recoil from the cannon.
In short: No, it does not drive backwards.

The M110 was made a while ago, but the model has been tweaked many times until now. It will be used by the Allies as the main artillery unit.
