ive always failed to inderstand the great effectiveness of the attack dogs, i mean, your talking about soldiers in full gear and body armor, able (in game) to withstand several rounds from infantry or even tanks, yet he is killed instantly by a dog? also, you would think a dog would be killed easily by a soldiers assault rifle. just putting that out there... no matter though, picture looks good :)
That's so painfully apparent. But think of it this way: it's an extreme generalization of dogs being useful in many ways. In the woods, probably. At night, maybe. At night, in the woods, exhausted and unexpecting, definitely.
@ Patton , dogs were extremely useful for scouting and really there a Multiplayer game unit , so it can go under the shadows the effectiveness of the dog scout during single player turtle-fest.
Those are still some time away. If modeling and texturing them was the only concern, you would probably have seen some by now, but we plan on having a realistic infantry scale, which means that using the existing C&C3 infantry animations can't be done very easily. If we were to make all the animations by ourselves, we'd need a full-time animator.
if the dog was ment to be realistic the average heavily amoured soldier would simply be knocked over as a distraction but i dont see that happening anytime soon. so naturaly it would be alot easier for the developers to just make the dog kill the infantry instantly
he looks so... tranquil
He know that he dont have any chance :)

Also dont forget the spy that supplied as food >.<
there is a fps out there: CoD:WaW even in hardcore when dogs gets one shoted they are suprisingly effective
though they were annoying for the sniper lining up the game winning kill. D:
not bad, but any chance we can see actual in-game infantry units?
