Calradia 1050 A.D.: Mercenary Uprising is a single-player mod for Mount & Blade Warband 1.166 and higher. Calradia 1050 A.D. Mercenary Uprising V. 3.0 is built on the following major modifications for Warband: *Diplomacy 4.2. *Pre-Battle Orders and Deployment (PBOD).92 including Formations. *Freelancer 1.51. (with several fixes from Floris 2.55 and some modified code by me). *JacobHinds improved morale and routing system code. *Three added factions (Keltons, Khergiz, and Geroians). *My own modification of troop recruiting including town and castle recruitment and manor recruitment as well as customizable troops and extensively re-worked faction troops. *** The mod also includes several popular OSP kits and codes, including bridge battles, tavern animations, banking, outposts, recruitment from castles, and the salt mine. *** The mod has added a good number of armor, weapons, and horses from various OSPs as well as many of my own work.
Patch 2 is not save-game compatible with v3.0 saves. This patch is not a full module. It contains only the files, resources, textures, and objects that were modified through July 2020. These are the fixes and changes made for this patch: 1.Fixed the missing village elder for Uzgha village. 2.Fixed prison scene bugs for Starfall Castle and Jamiche Castle. 3.Fixed siege scene problem for Curaw by changing to native scene. 4.Fixed the native kite shields that some players have found to be too shiny. 5.Fixed problem with a Sarranid shield texture. 6.Added an elite infantry troop to Gerioan troops (they now have elite cavalry and elite infantry) and modified some of the Geroian troops equipment. 7.Slightly modified the Khergiz party templates to make them a little less powerful since they are cavalry heavy. 8.Changed the Khergiz trained skirmisher from level 20 to 15 as intended. 9.Other small changes that I cannot remember.
This mod is the only reason I still play Warband instead of Bannerlord lol
I am glad you are enjoying it. I think you will like the next version even more.
Absolutely! Can't wait! :)
when do you reckon it will be finished? Thanks for all the hard work you guys put in btw
Perhaps by the end of August. The main coding is nearly finished. There are a few small things to add still.
looking forward to this
this was the first proper warband mod i played when i first started playing, literally have now an army of cataphracts and im completely unbeatable, thanks for making me feel like a god! Love this mod! :D
When I download the patch, how do i actually get it to work w the mod?
You extract the patch and then copy the files to the Calradia 1050 A.D. mod version 3 in your modules folder of Warband.
Hi redleg, I wanted to point something out, though I think this has more to do with the vanilla ai than the mod: for non professional troops they are normally armed with two weapons, them being a spear and a secondary weapon. With that, when in a battle, it seems the ai can’t decide whether to use their spear or their secondary weapon while in mid fight. This makes them easier to be killed by enemies. Would it be possible to arm lower level non professional troops with only a spear? Just a suggestion.
yeah common problem happens in a lot of mods they switch their weapons in a rythmic manner
As Soultrap said below this is a common problem with many mods. I recall that there is a line in the module.ini that helps deal with this problem. If you are using the alt module.ini it doesn't have that line. Only use the alt module.ini if you don't also own Viking Conquest.
Hello Redleg99, great mod!!
can you please add in a future update the "Companions Overseers v1.20"
accessed in the map with the letter o
i found it very usefull to equip my companions and saving a lot a time
Do you know it?
thanks a lot
Folkland Shields miss textures
Did you install Patch 2? It has the textures and resource BRF for the shields.
i believe to have done so. Ill just try again ig
Reading the poem that goes something something questioning skeptical darts gave me a "no relation" message and set it to -100. Im just gonna assume thats not intended.
I assume this occurs only with ladies from one of the small factions (Keltons, Khergiz, Geroians). I don't know what is causing it but will look into it.
Same with the wercheg one. Id also like to suggest the companion auto loot&equip; feature to get more options, like favoring damage types. Theres a Salt mine and i want my companions to only wield Blunt weapons :P
In PBOD options you can tell your troops to use blunt weapons. If they don't have a blunt weapon they will use their fists. For companions you can rename them to something other than infantry, cavalry, or archer and then have PBOD assign blunt only to them.
The Autoloot feature does not like Arrows for some reason and will randomly deequip them at times.
This is a feature built into Diplomacy 4.2 and I don't know why it occurs.
The author of Bannerpage managed to resolve it, if you feel like asking him how to fix it.
The way I have dealt with it is to give them the arrows or bolts I want them to have and then tell set the auto-loot to keep their current arrow/bolt selection. It works.
Tier 2 Outpost Patrol training costs 0 denars and results in a lot of error lines
The outpost coding is quite buggy. I thought I had disabled it for this version. I would advise not to use it.
Do we need to install de patch 1 prior to this one?
Yes indeed- or at least I think so. I made this patch last year and I think I included the Patch 1 stuff but am not sure. Better to do Patch 1 first.
Are you still modding?
No mate, I'm retired heh, I just translate Bannerlord into spanish from time to time and manage my community. Cheers and great job with this mod!
I enjoyed playing your mod. I don't have Bannerlord so I am still messing around with Warband for now.
