RED ZONE IS A BATTLEFIELD 2142 MODDIFICATION ABOUT A FICTIONAL MILITARY CONFLICT BETWEEN USA AND USSR SET IN THE LATE 1980'S.
A small video log demonstrating the new ak74 with wooden stock with GP25 grenade launcher, new 1p hands and new pistol animations. Weapon animations were reworked, as well as new soldiers have been added. A total of 16 new soldiers will be available in the update, of which 6 have been allready made, including a ghile suited recon (wookie) soldier. AK74u has also been modifyed and reanimated, check the screenshots.

Constructive criticism:
1. The new animation for the AK should have the soldier pulling the charging handle, in my opinion.
2. Pistol animations shows the left arm coming out of the chest.
1. You really like the pulling of the charging handle, dont you :D
2. The arm only looks like its coming from the chest, but you can try holding the pistol yourself like that and you will see that its the same... spreadding out the arms makes you a bigger target for the enemy
I've held a pistol before and I know what you mean by keeping your arms close to you, but even then, my arm isn't pointing towards the right part of my chest. And yes, charging handles are sexy :)

The prone animations are great!
One thing, when he reloads the GP25/30, the round is invisible, unless it's just me being stupid :P
Finally, when is this mod set? Because the Russian soldiers are using older weapons, but the US soldiers are using more modern weapons, Like the M4A1.
There is a round in GP25/30 reload I can assure you, its just that the animation speed is too high, but i tryed to make it bc2 style. The mod is set in the late 80s. There is some confusion with the weapons authenticity and stuff but i will get it fixed
