Looks like anime, is that the style you're going for? Also, why are the breast part exposed like that?
Well.We wanted to create face models with eastern aesthetic in them.We drew a cautious conclusion that a style between anime and reality is the best option. :p
Not just female charactors,male charactors like Victor,Cpt.Brake,Pvt.Nick,Cole,etc,are in this style currently.
As for the breast part..Well,i have no idea too.That's an original Half-Life 2 animation,i believed that is the different way of rigging caused this.
Mixing of styles is not a good thing and breaks immersion, so try to keep it to one style only. Either everything is anime styled or nothing is.
I'm not talking about the animation, I'm talking about the model. Why is the chest area exposed and not covered? Makes no sense and it just looks like you are sexualizing the woman from my point of view.
We believe that the style between animate and and realism is also a style.
This style mostly used in eastern games,such as Dead or Alive,The Final Fantasy from Square Enix,Resident Evil and Devil May Cry from Capcon,etc.
They all follow this style.
