In Colony Wars all Miners are now amphibious. This also means that for obvious reasons they aren't allowed in Transports now.
Ore in water? Or just portability purposes?
Latter. Along with MCVs and Engineers who are also amphibious now are to help lessen the load of expanding towards Islands.
