Boasting the ability of re-creation with talented producers and creators, Recovered Operations will exuberate high-class, padded gameplay with instantaneous enjoyment - stemming from the delectably written dialog and scenes!

Recovered Operations is a game developed and remade by Cracked Computer Studios, which aims to re-create Counter-Strike: Condition Zero's Deleted Scenes. It makes up a series of single-player missions with an actual storyline, which has blazing fast action and intense firefights. It includes the original equipment and re-created weapons from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero's Deleted Scenes.

“Recovered Operations is a graphical re-creation of a previous title in the franchise, handled 'Deleted Scenes' - The game was obscured by its shifting brother Counter-Strike: Source; but maintained a large crowd a great time, which is what inspired [us] to remake it”.

In need of help

News 0 comments

Hello there.

As you might have noticed, progress is going extremely slow at the moment.
And we are in serious need of people that can help us get going again.

And here is what we need at the moment:

  • Programmers [CRITICAL]
  • Texture artists (weapons, environments, props and so on) [CRITICAL]
  • Environment modelers/ artists [CRITICAL]

And if you have any other skills that might help us please do contact us as well.

We really hope that there is someone out there among you that can help us get going again, because as of now we are pretty much stuck. And we wouldn't want to abandon this.

If you are able to help us out please send us a mail to crackedcomputerstudios@gmail.com
Or send me a PM here on Mod DB (Click to send a PM)

Is there a major change in the level Lost Cause? Because there's an error in CZ: DS.
Like the terrorists speaking Spanish instead Tagalog/Arab, They also wear a recolor Yakuza outfit instead their own outfit, etc. And are you planning this game would be standalone?

You have to understand, that these guys are not recreating DS on Source engine. They're creating a new storyline based on DS. And by "based" I mean, they're creating a single player campaign based on CS elements. As much as I know, they're creating a story with a main character, with connected missions, not like DS. So basically they are using CZ DS name to get your attention and support.

I don't think the name was meant to only be an eye catcher, Guest.

What these guys are doing is literally remaking Counter-Strike Deleted Scenes, though that does not mean nothing new can be added. Same principle with redecorating your house with the same coloured paint.

To Devs, will there be a tazer that the player can use? How fun it'd be if I could shock 65 times to death?

I like the way you think. I'll bring it up with the Studio to see what they think about something like that.

We haven't gotten to Lost Cause yet, we're currently working on Sandstorm, Recoil, Secret War and Rise Hard. But as we go trough the levels we'll be cleaning them all up and fixing all previous errors, bugs and glitches in our way. As for the game being standalone, yes. The game will be standalone on release.

@Guest
But we are though, we're recreating Deleted Scenes on the Source Engine, but we're also making it into a game with a story and meaning. This might not be how the original was but we feel that doing this will make it more interesting than just playing trough a "map pack mod" for Half-Life 2.

Ok. Sorry for misunderstanding. So you're saying, that we are going to play, let's not say the same missions, but similar missions (Objective and location wise), but this time it is going to make much more sense.

It's alright, that happens. The missions will remain the same but the level design and layout will be something like what you see in the Black Mesa mod. The areas will be expanded appropriately and the design will fit the location better. The objectives and locations remains the same. By doing this we hope things will make more sense.

Indeed we do. And we'll be looking into hiring the appropriate voice actors for the maps when that time comes.

I thought condition zero deleted scenes had a lot more potential but was rushed. Ive been waiting for someone to recreate this mod in the source engine. This mod looks very promising and I wish you good luck in creating it :)
