It's a little masterpiece mappack/mod. There's nothing really wrong here, It's just... more Half-Life!

Intense mod with some great action sequences and blood-pumping excitement. Its only shortcoming is that it's, well, short.
I liked the way the crowbar was introduced. A game that forces you to be unusually resourceful to progress makes you appreciate having it a lot more.
Good pacing and variety of environments that are familiar, yet unique. Feels authentic and Valve-esque.
Combat is challenging and requires thinking on your feet to use the environment to your favor. Rebel Surge truly embodies the RTSL philosophies.
10, to balance out some "reviews". Otherwise 9.
