This is the official "Realistic Driving" mod for GTA V. This mod features completely new driving physics, created from scratch for each of the 357 vehicles. The performance of each vehicle matches its real life counterpart perfectly.

Description

Realistic Driving mod version 1.0 features new driving physics for 240 vehicles in GTA V. Physics definitions for each individual vehicle have been created from scratch. Tire grip and basic handling characteristics for each vehicle are as realistic as possible within the limitations of GTA V physics and AI. Each car's performance (acceleration curve, top speed, braking, cornering) matches its real life counterpart with high accuracy (deviation is less than 3% in most cases) ===== What's new in version 1.0: 180 hours worth of improvements. Every single vehicle has been reworked. Weight transfer, suspension and brake physics have been improved. The automated brake has been disabled. The amount of featured vehicles has been increased from 204 to 240 (+36). Added vehicles include: Propeller planes, vans, emergency vehicles, shuttle busses, Rhino tank, Guardian 4x4 Superduty, Lowrider and Halloween cars. Cherry on top is increased vehicle deformation (optional).

Thank you for your continued work and dedication, this absolutely transforms the game, and I wouldn't even consider playing GTAV without it.

Gute Arbeit KT. Man muss sich erst noch an das Handling gewöhnen. Sage nur Kurven. Top.
Eine Frage an Dich. Hast du die Mod auf GTA5Mods hochgeladen?

With 1.00 I get this weird behavior: streamable.com/aaum Any idea why?

are you talking about the gear display of the speedometer? The speedometer's script probably has flaws.

Yeah, seem like the gear display is the speedometer's issue, and the RPM always behaved like this and I just didn't realize for some reason. Sorry.

Hello Killatomate! This mod is awesome, but after last update i have a problem with exhaust flashes on max rpm. When rpm reached its maximum, flashes dont stop.
Sorry for my english, i really hope that you understood the problem.

I think what he's talking about can also be seen in my video, but I'm pretty sure that's not related to your handling.

streamable.com/aaum

When it hits the rev limiter the exhaust keeps doing the flashes instead of it only happening once like before the patch, but it's the same with stock handling.

Yes, you right. Seems that Rockstar broke another part of the game. I tryed to use your previous version 0.97, but it have the same effect. Normal work only on stock handling. So, we cant do anything with it?

Oh, so fast. For example infernus, surano, adder, mainly sportcars and supercars.

Absolutely first class work.. You've ascended GTAV into the truly Immersive. Thank You So So Much!

The only thing to top off this cheery would be real manual shifting. unsure if it's possible tho

Killatomate, thank u for this mode its really good, but imho for more realistic driving the suspension settings and LowSpeedTractionLossMult for car like TAXI2 should be <fSuspensionCompDamp value="0.370000" /> <fSuspensionReboundDamp value="0.360000" />, <fLowSpeedTractionLossMult value="0.650000" />. LowSpeedTractionLossMult should have higher value to spin the wheels from the start when u pressing accelerator pedal quickly to 100%.

Motorcycles shouldn't understeer!

I love the car physics but having ridden motorcycles professionally for over 20 years i can state categorically that bikes do not and cannot understeer.

Maybe on ice, a little, but it would result in an instant drop - if the front wheel loses lateral traction, the front end just drops away, and you're going for a slide.

Under any other circumstance, when you push or pull on the bars, the bike steers, no matter what. Bikes are "tracking vehicles" and this behaviour is not speed dependent. Cornering too fast and steep will most likely cause a loss of rear lateral traction, causing the bike to slip out from the rear end.

As much as i love the car physics, the bike mods are worse than the defaults. An option to keep the original bike handling - perhaps just with auto-braking nulled - would be preferable.

Or better yet, rework the bike physics to keep the steering responsive. Bikes can steer VERY sharply, at any speed, even when it's the last thing any sane person would try. There's nothing inherent to a bike's physics that prevents you steering or leaning too far...

Not sure how hard it would be to fix but the other thing ruining bikes in GTA V is the camera tilting the horizon when leaning - basically simulating the effects of a severe inner ear infection! Only the bike should lean, not the whole world...

Total respect for your efforts though!
