Real War is a total conversion for C&C Generals Zero Hour, it's goal is to create gameplay that would feel much more like a real action rather then a clash of toys, staying at the same time competitive game. With realistic units, realistic FX, and realistic tactics we intend to create RTS experience of authenticity level never seen before. The sides include US Army, Armed forces of Russian Federation, and Chinese People's Liberation Army. Each with unique units, buildings and upgrades.

Ok, to all those who are not satisfied with china having QBZ-95 rifle:
All elite forces are now equipped with them, and more and more are being produced. Also know that "elite" forces are not just TZ and PAP, those are Blue and A-class armies, and they are actually quite numerous. ZTZ-99 is also an elite army only thing, but it doesn't mean that we should replace it with type59.
By the way, we are going to give AN-94 to russian guys, so don't even try to say anything about it ;)
AN-94 was dropped as the new standard issue combat rifle since it is too expensive to mass produce :/ Majority of Russian infantry use either AK-74s or AKM-74s. AN-94 would more likely be in the hands of Russian spetsnatz units since they always get the better toys XD

The Chinese variant of the Kalashnikov is called the Type 56, not the AK-47. And yes, they are still in service in certain branches of the PLA, despite newer rifle designs such as the QBZ-95 and QBZ-03. The former has actually been found somewhat unsatisfactory by the Chinese military for some reason or other, which sparked the production of the latter.
